Event Description

The San Jose State University School of Library and Information Science presents, "The Techs Impacting Libraries & Publishing in 2012." This featured presentation by Joe Murphy, librarian and trend spotter, covers the major technology trends that are emerging in 2012, shaping how we consume content and seek information. Technology changes impact content opportunities and service agendas.

Joe Murphy is a librarian and technology trend spotter. Joe resigned his position with the Yale University Science Libraries in 2011, to work independently helping libraries and related stakeholders across the information industries synthesize and maximize technology trends. Joe is a book author and editor, an international speaker, and a conference organizer.
