Hi everyone,
I'm trying to find some clips of teachers actually teaching in the classroom. This is for mentors-in-training to be able to do observations in a protected setting. Looking for 6-10 minute segments on the elementary, middle, and high school levels -- just straight documentary type footage, no interview, no explanation -- just teachers teaching. Teaching does not have to be exemplary -- ordinary folks are just fine.
If you are aware of any such clips online, I'd be very grateful if you could send me the urls, either on or off-line.
Thanks very much.

The LibrarianInBlack blog recently had a post on online video sites that included a link to this handy chart of 100+ video sharing websites. TeacherTube.com would probably be an excellent spot for you to look for the kinds of videos you want.
Hi Jim

these UK resources may be worth a look Gold Dust Resources includes some videos as well as other materials aimed at trainee teachers. The resources make reference to the Lifelong Learning UK teacher training standards

Teachers' TV website has a good range of video case studies too, though you may need to fish around to find footage of somebody simply stand up teaching

I have a video of a teacher using an electronic response system in a classroom, teaching Chemistry. It is nothing flash or exemplary, just a teacher using technology to aid a lesson

Hope they help
Thanks Andy.
