Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

The UNT Libraries' DDA collection was a pilot project with the goal of simply finding out how it would work.  While care was taken to set up an approval plan that would be appropriate for our users, the exact distribution of titles in the Discovery Collection were not well known.  Once users had access to this collection, furthermore, it was not known how it would be used and how it would impact our permanent collection of e-books.  This presentation describes the distribution of ebooks in the DDA Discovery and "purchased" collections and how they compare with our print collection, as well as EBSCO's Ebook service (formerly NetLibrary).
