Hi all,

My name is Vanessa and I'm a newly qualified Teacher Librarian. I used to be a drama teacher, but decided I needed a change in 2008. I've always had an interest in information literacy, enjoyed the research aspect of Drama studies and love helping people, so it just seemed natural to study librarianship. While completing my library studies I was fortunate enough to get a job working as a middle/ senior years Teacher Librarian in a K-12 college in Australia and have been loving it ever since!  

Discovering Library 2.0 has been really eye-opening. I have been so impressed and amazed by the global library community and have been so inspired by attending sessions in the Library 2.012 Conference. There is so much to learn and try out!
