The UC Irvine Libraries has a long history of providing research consultations. In a Library that values innovation and evaluation we regularly pilot new ways to provide consultations to students when and where they need them. Recently research consultations using Join.me and Google+ Hangouts have been implemented to extend the service to online students. This session will present the planning, development/implementation and training needed to successfully use screen-sharing to hold in-depth research consultations with patrons. We will also discuss our next steps to more fully integrate online consultations into our robust consultation service program.

This presentation looks great. I am very interested in learning more about using Google+ as a place for meetings, office hours, etc.
Thanks!
