I would like to introduce you to our online community, it may be a solution that could benefit your organization. Here in Prince Edward Island, Canada we recently launched an online virtual community called BioSciencePEI which allows us to form unlimited groups, where members can share and edit files, host free video meetings, conference calls, voice mail and chat, manage a group calendar and agenda, poll group members, post links, send mass texts, voice and email messages to group members. The "private branded community" is a partnership with Wiggio Inc. an application software company.

As a former educator and now educational consultant and the coordinator of the sanofi-BioGENEius Challenge Canada BioTech national program here in PEI I saw a need to connect students, teachers and mentors along with the organizers and supporters of the program in order that they could collaborate, share and communicate from a distance. The very nature of our SBCC program, working with high school students and researchers, means we are scattered across the province making it difficult to work and keep in touch within our groups both individually and collectively. Thus the development and partnership with Wiggio Inc. to set up resources within a private branded community to bring all of us under one roof to connect, share and collaborate from a distance. I am now working with Wiggio Inc. to spread the word about our private branded community in hopes this service could benefit other similar organizations who share similar needs.
