Libraries find it difficult in a constant changing environment and tough economic times to demonstrate relevancy to patrons. Service has to be provided to a broad spectrum of users across multiple generations. Libraries continue to examine new possibilities for providing services to their patrons. QR Codes is a relatively new tool for libraries to provide service to patrons with mobile-accessed devices, such as SmartPhone, iPhones, iPads, etc. Participants will learn how to: make create QR codes, ways to use them to provide library resources and services, and some of the pros and cons of their use in a library.
