Full Session Description (as long as you would like): Over the past year foursquare has been one of the hottest location-based social networks on the mobile web. During this fall semester (Fall ’11) the social media team at Hamilton Library at the University of Hawaii, Manoa has been tracking foursquare use to better understand how students interact with this social network. During this session I will share with you practical tips on how to set up a successful foursquare campaign as well as sharing with you both efforts that work as well as those that do not. By the end of this session you will be well on your way to establishing a strong presence for your library on foursquare.
