Full Session Description (as long as you would like):
I teach Plagiarism Prevention Workshops at the University of South Carolina Upstate. We have a growing distance education program and online courses offered at USC Upstate. As a result, I've had faculty members requesting an online version of the Plagiarism Prevention Workshop for their online courses.
Over the past summer I created a Blackboard version of the workshop with assistance from my colleague, Lola Bradley. We also participated in an online teaching course over the summer to learn how to use Blackboard and other online tools to create online courses or workshops.
As a librarian new to creating online workshops, I can assist other librarians unfamiliar with using Blackboard or LibGuides to create their own online workshops or tutorials. Participate in this session to gain knowledge about how to create an interactive workshop with Blackboard, LibGuides, Youtube, and activities.
