I am very excited to be participating/presenting at this event and hope to meet many of you (virtually!) I like to think of myself as an honorary Info Scientist :-) and my talk is going to be in part about providing search/findability services as an offering of the HBS Knowledge & Library Services group. A slightly older version of my preso is available on slideshare:
I'll update that in time for the conference, but if you would like to take a look at it in advance and let me know if there are any specific areas you would like me to emphasize or elaborate upon I would be happy to do so. Please let me know?
I am very glad to hear that the sessions will be recorded, it's so hard to choose!
If you are interested in the Open Educational Movement, please stop by (or watch the recording): Beyond open access, beyond open courseware, how might OEM affect libraries?
It is such an honor to be a part of this exciting forum. I am enjoying looking through the proposals. I am also looking forward to attending one of the scheduled Blackboard Collaborate workshop sessions.
I hope to connect with those of you involved with youth library programming incorporating online collaborative tools.
The topic we are presenting revolves around visual literacy and the leveraging of cloud tools for youth collaborations:
Hi everyone - Such great stuff. Looking forward to this. I'm presenting on children's e-picture books and literacy learning. I'd love to connect with anyone doing presentations on e-books, early literacy and children's sections/school libraries.
This is going to be a great conference! If you are interested in fiction selection, or genre, or blogging, please attend my presentation on "The Brave New World of Fiction Selection: the Rap Sheet on the Fiction Vixen, or how the Locus can book bloggers help with fiction selection". I hope to see you there.
