Briar:  As long as you have turned on chat for everyone, the moderator can come in through the regular link and you can upgrade them (right click on their name, upgrade to moderator).

I finished my presentation and it was fun with so many great people participating! Now I'm helping to make things work for the other sessions. Busy times!

Getting excited about presenting with my colleague from Australia. It will be evening for me, morning for him.

Ah, just completed my presentation. What a fun experience. I listened to a really interesting presentation on social media image usage this morning and will be checking out more sessions now that mine is out of the way. Thank you for this opportuinty!

Thanks Steve..so perhaps log in as moderator, I'll have my partner log in as a participant, and maybe upgrade her while I am moderator, then log out. Something like that? I think I get it, and may practice before tomorrow! :)

Isn't the issue that the moderator might not be able to get in if we are in there as a moderator, though? If I am there with my slides loaded waiting for them, will the volunteer moderator still be able to get in?

@guybrarian:  yes, and if you want you can upload slides after you come in second time. The upgrade is not only to allow you to operate slides, but also to have other moderator capability and to show at the top of the participant box.  P.S. Don't leave the room until someone is there who is a moderator and is able to upgrade you!

Thanks for all the comments here. So- Enter room as moderator, upload slides (not more than 10MB) leave room and enter as participant so volunteer moderator can join in. They can "upgrade" us (to what?) so we can operate our slides right? Thanks! We present tomorrow!

@TBM--yes, and it's usually possible to "minimize" a presentation (OpenOffice) or "compress pictures" (Microsoft Office) to get to an acceptable size!  :)

FYI, 10MB size limit on uploads so you can plan appropriately.
