Sir I would like to subscribe PLISJ for my personal reading. In this regards i contact Dr. Ghaniulakram Sabzwari sahib and send him this email "A sincere effort has been made to revise the enclosed review paper. I interpreted the available literature in view of my practical experience in different organizations/ establishments of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission w. e. f. 7-7-1998. I have practically seen the roles of libraries and librarians in research and scientific organizations. The paper text is, therefore, based on my practical knowledge and applications of different viable methods. I wrote this article very early during March 23, 2008 in response of Mian Muhammad Ramzan, Head Librarian Department of Libraries & Learning Resource Centers (LRC), Islamic International Medical College Trust, Riphah International University email on PAKLAG (copy attached). I neither wrote references nor find/ remember the material, which I consulted while writing the article under reference. I, therefore, do not mark in any book or person quotation in the text of my article. However, efforts have been made to give references of all those material from where I got some idea during revising the article. It is pertinent to mention here that I requested Dr. Rais Samdani sahib to send me invoice for subscription to Pakistan Library and Information Science Journal.
The revised paper is attached for your kind evaluation and publication in the said journal. Indeed, I will feel encouragement with your feedback on the alteration and suggestions for improvement. It will give me an impetus for my impending publications."
My husband has already published for several periodicals. Most of his work is in the area of Catholic Intellectual Preservation and he writes for the Catholic Library Association. He i s researching a new project now. His name is Vince Tinerella and he also works at Arkansas Tech, at the Russellville Campus. He is 99% sure he doesn't want to do a PhD.
I love this profession. I sort of accidentally fell into the profession on purpose. I wanted to be a librarian since I was in college to be an elementary school teacher. I only taught for 3 years and moved to a small town where I became the children's librarian in the public library. I loved it so much I went to library school. In the mean time my husband, also an academic librarian, did a national job search and we wound up at Arkansas Tech. We are both librarians on different campuses. My husband has an additional MA in history and toys with the idea of more education, a certificate perhaps. I really do not want another degree but I would like to become more proficient with technology.
