About Me:
I retired from the University of South Florida Tampa Library in 2009.
I am currently teaching as an adjunct for UMUC's Masters in Distance Education certificate program and teaching sections of mandatory 1 credit courses on use of library and internet resources.
June, 2010 to date: Volunteer Director of Library Service, University of the People - supporting the first online tuition-free university.
In the past I have done some adjunct work for University of South Florida' s School of Information both online and face-to-face. Teaching for what was then the School of Library and Information Science gave me my first opportunity to teach online in 1996.
For fun...I'm interested in the use of virtual worlds for education - mainly Second Life.
Do you want to volunteer to help with the Library 2.0 virtual conference / events?
