About Me:
I'm currently teaching library skills online and looking for a full time job after our recent move to Ft. Benning, GA. I grew up in England and have lived in Germany for 25 years and in the US for 18 years. I'm fluent in German and teach German and social studies when I am not working as a full time librarian. I enjoy working with students and love the concept of using social media and technology to increase information literacy at all levels.
Do you want to volunteer to help with the Library 2.0 virtual conference / events?
Yes
If you are willing to volunteer, how would you like to help? Would you want to participate as a partner organization, to serve on the advisory committee, or to help moderate actual sessions? Please provide details below, or any ideas you have for the conference.
I'm very interested in the use of social media within the K12 and higher education libraries. I am fluent in German (and my french is pretty good as well) so I may be able to help out with anything international. I'm not an expert at social media, but I'm happy to learn as I go. I really don't mind what I do to help. I'm currently unemployed but just interviewed for a job so depending on that I can probably commit to about an hour a day.
