Hi Mike,
I'm brand new to Library 2.0 and your post in the Creative Librarians group is one of the first things I've viewed. I sent my youth services librarian co-workers a link to your new Getting Boys to Read site.
I notice it is currently in beta. One thing I'd like to see added to the blog is an 'About' tab to explain further what the site is all about.
Looking forward to exploring your blog and other contributions.
-Cheers

I am a staff member from a small library branch with only two people in Sydney, Australia. I participated in the library2.0 program last year which was organised by the NSW State Library. We now continue our journey of learning which includes "Nings". It brought me here to your ning page. I am very interested in your "GettingBoystoRead" site. I would like to share it with my colleagues. We hope to use a lot tips from your site to achieve our goal. I hope that you don't mind. Thanks.
I've viewed your site on getting boys to read and its very interesting and educational
May I ask for information regarding an example of a year-round library
activities that you have been doing in your respective institution
Thanks a lot
Im glad and thankful for inviting me...I hope we can share/exchange more ideas regarding our field.

I also have two boys who hate to read and have been researching guys reading for some time. why don't boys like to read? too boring, not as exciting as video games, not interested. some like movies better than reading.
Thanks for this!
Great work! I am also a high school teacher-librarian and will certainly be able to use your blog! Who knows, if my schedule slows down I might even be able to contribute to it! Having two young boys of my own, I appreciate everything you are doing!
