- Alumni of the DLIS, University of Kerala. Secured First Rank in MLISc in 2003 and joined Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan in the same year. First appointment at Kendriya Vidyalaya Baramulla, Jammu & Kashmir. Presently working at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram. PG Diploma holder in Journalism and completed M.Phil in Library and Information Science.
The Library Media Centre at Kendriya Vidyalaya Pattom is the first fully automated Kendriya Vidyalaya library in the country. It has an excellent has been hailed as the first school library blog in India.

Online social networking is an area where more and more libraries experimenting with. The current flavour is Ning, a platform where you can create your own social network. Many organizations and groups use
this as their live and interactive meeting places. Facebook, Myspace,
Orkut, etc are also social networks but the control key is not with you.
