I am a masters degree candidtate with the School of Library and Information Science at San Jose State University. I work as a student assistant with the director of Distance Learning. I will graduate at the end of the Fall semester, 2011. I am interested in the evolving nature of librarianship; I'm wondering if the profession will transform into something else altogether eventually.
Do you want to volunteer to help with the Library 2.0 virtual conference / events?
I would certainly like to have the chance to consider it. I will be working on my e-portfolio over the next few months, and will probably be traveling. I typically spend around half the year on Japan.
I am pretty well experienced using Elluminate webconferencing software as trainer of new students at SJSU SLIS and a trainer of student moderators. I use applications like Snapz Pro, Jing and Camtasia to create screencast tutorials, Panopto for recorded presentations, as well. Can these experiences be of some use?
