Thoughts about Library 2.0 Ning

Library 2.0 Ning is my favorite social network because it promotes serendipitous searching among people who have the same profession as well as an interest in web 2.0 in common.

If you are a fan of serendipitous searching, check out Steve Nelson's BananaSlug, which was designed to promote serendipitous surfing.

"Directed Google searches return pages most relevant to your search term, based on the pages' popularity on the Web. You may… Continue

Thanks for the invitation. I found the serendipitous surf site isnteresting. I am guessing UC Santa Cruz connections.

Hey Gail,

Another question about DDR - do the foam dance mats work quite well, or do they wear out fairly quickly? If budgets permitted, would the heavy-duty metal ones be better, or do the foam ones "do the trick" even for fairly heavy use?

Hi Gail,

Thanks for the invite! I saw the video about DDR just a couple months ago from a classmate in one of my Masters degree courses. Is that you in it? Great moves! I would love to hear more about how it's working.

Gail,

Thank you for the invitation. I tried to resist accepting it, but I felt oddly compelled to say yes. You really are a wizard, aren't you?

Those FISH! workshops are great, aren't they?
