Would you do an interview on Twitter and celebrities?

Okay, now that Bill has me on a Twitter kick, thought I would share: last week I was contacted by a reporter here in Canada for Canwest asking if she could interview me about Twitter and celebrities. She is someone who has contacted me previously for interviews, and of course I like to help her when I can. I'm not much of a celebrity watcher, but agreed to the interview. The result was the article Twitterazzi… Continue

Ning Things - A Wednesday Night Rant

Ning is really cool, especially (from what I can see) if you want to create your own social network.

*Rant on*

However, I am frustrated with it, as an average user:

  • if I enter via http://www.ning.com (as I do) there is no quick way to jump to my list of networks. I have to figure out a new path each time
  • from the front page of ning, there is a tab called "My networks" that sounds like it should fit the bill, but…

Just gettin' the swing of things

Howdy! Thanks for all the friend invites, everyone. A pleasant surprise. 8-)

I've just changed my photo to a funkier one I have used elsewhere, and it seems to match my template a bit better. Kinda sorta. I just saw that we are supposed to introduce ourselves in one of the forums. Oops. I didn't see that when I first signed on.

So, what do people do for fun around here?

Very cool, Connie! Thanks! I gave an online Webcast for SLA on Web 2.0 in January, and it's really good to see more people pushing these tools and ideas in special libraries.

Just checkin' in to say hello! I changed my photo on my page, it doesn't seem to have changed across all areas yet. Oh well. I was going to post in the Intros forum but don't have time to read through ALL the bios yet...and I had just posting without reading the whole thread, so maybe in the next day or two.

Aloha!
