Library Tech Assistants

Our library has program for Tech Student Assistants to provide first level support for library technologies.
Does anyone else have a program that is similar? I have created a Wiki for their work flow with integrated 2.0 technologies.

thanks for any info or links you can send or tech tips....

Web 2.0 Which Conferences did you attend in 2008?

Hi All,
There are so many resources for us to choose from now in Web 2 and Lib 2... which conferences do you recommend going to or Webinars that you attended this year that were worth your time?

thanks,

How Mobile Devices are Changing the way we Live.

Have you used Google Mobile yet?

I have just sent the link to my Blackberry and maybe I'll have some time to test it out this week.

If it make my life easier as it is touted... i will be bragging about it to library staff.

The Apple iPhone still catches my eye as a really fun phone that "does it all".... just heard the new Apple iPhone will be out this week? Rumors? I still might wait for the touch screen BlackBerry to be release in the fall.

Awesome! Vash (aka Cherilynn Rum Truffel) is a long-haired mini (and sheds like crazy during summer)- they're fantastic little dogs, such great companions and so loyal... and cute!

Hi Roxann, My sister had a similar troll when i was small - they were all the rage then and I used to like to brush it's hair. I just lifted this photo from the web as I needed a picture of a troll for a poster - didn't use this one in the end. We have a problem here with students entering the building/library with dirty boots straght from the farm: pigs, cattle you get the picture. They have to remove their boots before entering but if they leave them in a heap so someone can trip on them I hide the boots - therefore - nicknamed myself the 'boot troll' or the nasty cave dweller who hides their boots! They took it in good humour and their habits improved.
