Using ifttt.com for productivity and getting people into the library

I've written a few blog posts on my own website about possible uses of Ifttt.com. Ifttt allows you to set up a trigger from one web application (eg A Google News search for “libraries”), so that it triggers an action in another web application any time this happens (eg Creates a blog post from any newspaper articles it finds and links to the full news article). Each trigger/action you set up is called a task.

New Improved Paper.li Lets You Manage Your Papers

Ipad Media Lesson

Hi I am a Media Specialist at  Dainfern College in South Africa.  I just had a media lesson this morning with my  6 year olds using the Ipad - they did writing, matching (memory skills), music through animals and counting.  It was fantastic!!!  They were so enthusiastic and learning was fun!!!

As we begin to plan for new construction I'm at a loss as to what the library of the future will look like.  Is there any one who can lead me to information and resources that can help me get my head around this?  I would most apprecuate your thoughts and expertise.
