the future of libraries in the digital age
I've written a few blog posts on my own website about possible uses of Ifttt.com. Ifttt allows you to set up a trigger from one web application (eg A Google News search for “libraries”), so that it triggers an action in another web application any time this happens (eg Creates a blog post from any newspaper articles it finds and links to the full news article). Hi I am a Media Specialist at Dainfern College in South Africa. I just had a media lesson this morning with my 6 year olds using the Ipad - they did writing, matching (memory skills), music through animals and counting. It was fantastic!!! They were so enthusiastic and learning was fun!!!
