Exciting award for innovative library services contributing to community social inclusion

EIFL's Public Library Innovation Programme (EIFL-PLIP) is offering an award for library services that contribute to social inclusion in the community. The award is open to public and community libraries in developing and transition countries; the deadline is November 30 2012, and the prize is US$1,500.

One of our main criteria is innovative use of ICT. All you need to do is tell EIFL-PLIP the story of your service, and how you are using technology to achieve your goals. We'll share your story widely. We want to tell the world about the good work libraries are doing - and to inspire other creative and innovative librarians to implement similar services.

We're accepting applications in English, Spanish, French and Russian.

If you know of any good stories, please share this opportunity! For application details http://www.eifl.net/eifl-plip-innovation-award/award-3-social-inclu...
