I think that might be a great idea -- I know a number of library school students who used the site with great success, though I also know that personal website building is often a component of the MLIS curriculum. Still, it might be especially useful for those established in the field and looking for new ventures!
Thanks for the Weebly compliment, Steve! I had a lot of fun putting the site together and would recommend it to anyone looking to establish an easy, personalized web presence -- especially those on the job hunt!
Thanks for the Listing Steve - Your Ning is very cool! I'd love to have such an international membership with our Student Ning :) Very good idea having the online conference too. The maintenance side must keep you busy.
Just looking for folks who are a part of the community here who would like to be proactive in reaching out to new members and responding to discussion. No actual formal duties or time requirement, but your profile photo is posted at the top of the member page so if someone needs help they could contact you. Would love to add you if you're interested.
I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.
