I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.
Oops - I had sort of forgotten, too! Thanks for the reminder. As for library school, it's going well, and I graduate in the spring. I can't remember if I'd mentioned here that I started working full-time at my public library last May, so it's nice to be finishing things while being employed, and feeling pretty safe about my job, as everyone else I know seems to be panicking. I SO CAN'T WAIT to be done with school. Working full-time, going to school half-time, and parenting two kids is not for the faint of heart. Still, it's clear that I'm smarter about some things now than I was before.
How are you? Got the winter library nutso blahs? Or hanging on by fingertips? Any suggestions for an excellent winter read?
I think I'll try to figure out how to aggregate this as a widget into my netvibes page, so I won't forget about it for another year.
Hi Woeful, would you like to participate in the Library 2.0 Member survey I created for my Research Methods class?! It's not very long, and is mostly demographic and interest information. If you do, I would appreciate any comments you have about how I could improve it. Thanks, Julie Click Here to take survey
