Eric from the University of Michigan. I've just been turned on to Ning, so it's exciting to see that there's a lively discussion here. More importantly, it's exciting to see that everything is supported with RSS, which increases the likelihood that I'll come back and participate again.

I'm curious -- the first time I heard the term Library 2.0, it was in describing a new tool that would allow people looking at a book on Amazon to find that same book in a nearby library. I haven't really followed up on this tool -- though I have seen some mention of a new WorldCat local widget that does something of this nature... does anyone know of a tool like this?

WorldCat currently has it available. Click here to download the widget. Welcome btw.
Or perhaps Book Burro? It is an extension for Firefox.
