Leadership requires a specific set of skills including managing expectations, not operations; communicating visions and expectations to staff, advocates, and stakeholders; performing service quality reviews containing environmental scans, benchmarks, project management, evidence based assessments, and measurable continuous improvements; and building trust through appropriate leadership behavior. This session will discuss key considerations and point to example tools and techniques.
