Full Session Description (as long as you would like): Advancements in web and 3D technologies are ushering in a new era of interactive content for virtual reality. With new tools, it is easier than ever to create environments and experiences that are accessible via the browser across devices in order to provide novel content for learning and exploring concepts, communicating, and collaborating.

Mozilla has built a platform for creating and sharing virtual reality content. With Spoke, a web editor for composing custom virtual reality environments, anyone can build a 3D space and share it using Hubs, a web-based social VR platform that also supports interacting with one another on desktops, laptops, and mobile phones.

This talk will highlight the state of web-based virtual reality creation, ways that it can be used to supplement educational offerings, and provide attendees with a set of resources that can be used as the base of their own exploratory VR content.
