Learn how grants can help fund your dreams for your library and your K12 school! Learn where to find grants, strategies to prepare winning proposals, and how to survive after you win a grant. Dr. Rita Oates will be presenting this informative session with Dr. Nancy Teger. Dr. Oates has won grants exceeding $10 million while edtech director in Miami-Dade Co. Schools (FL) and has taught a graduate class, Grant Writing for Ed Tech, at Barry University. Dr. Oates is currently president of Oates Associates, a consulting firm. Dr. Teger was the Florida DOE specialist for libraries and currently is Program Professor in the graduate program in education at Nova Southeastern University. She is also the professional development chair for FAME.
