This session, being held Saturday, Oct. 19 at 5pm, is an expanded live edition of American Libraries’ 2013 Library Design Showcase, the magazine’s annual feature celebrating the best new and newly renovated or expanded libraries of all types. These libraries are shining examples of innovative architecture and address the service needs of patrons in unique, interesting, and effective ways. AL associate editor Phil Morehart will highlight selections from the showcase, discussing emerging trends, advances in green technologies, and exciting historic renovations, as well as tips for library administrators preparing to renovate their library.

Contemporary interior design of libraries is essential as libraries are not only archives anymore, but also spaces for workshops and working in groups and individually, which calls for flexible arranegement.Thank you for the tips on the web page and waiting for the presentation.
