What technologies exist, or will soon exist, that will transcend the physical and digital world?

Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

How can we utilize library space so that it endures as more than a wireless hotspot? We must integrate digital media into the library in a way that makes the physical space integral. This session will rethink the library's "physical collection" and highlight technology that will change how patrons use libraries. We will discuss projection technology, multi-touch tools, Near Field Communication, smartphone applications and other emerging technologies.
