Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

Self-expression and personal response to reading may be the keys to solving the teen reading disconnect (Oldfather and Dahl, 1994).  Digital storytelling makes responding to books through multimedia a powerful way to connect teens with books.

In this session, we’ll engage in a conversation about using digital storytelling to encourage teens to read and create.  Sample bookcasts will be shared with tips for facilitating successful bookcasting.
