A HUGE and special thanks to you for volunteering at the conference! Here are some notes that you will want to keep handy during the event:

The following instructions regarding Library 2.015 conference slides were provided to presenters. It is likely that some presenters will have missed these instructions, so please keep them handy for last minute assistance.

Sarah and Mapenzi--it was great to read your comments about volunteering for the conference. Thanks for sharing them and helping to build our community.
Perhaps we'll work together again next year!
This was my first time volunteering and I thought everything went extremely well. My presenter was just using a PowerPoint presentation so there were fewer things to go wrong but it was still good knowing the volunteer lounge was there for support.
Thank you Debbie. I like helping out. It males me feel relevant. I know at times I don't say really beneficial things, but the thought that I said something t help makes me smile the day along
Thanks for your confidence in me being part of the Volunteer Group
Thanks to all of the marvelous volunteers for your help during yesterday's conference! It was a very good day and I enjoyed meeting you, even if only briefly, in the volunteer lounge.
What was your experience like with the Library 2.015 conference?
Help needed at 5 pm Pacific Time today!
Can any of you who are signed up for the 4 pm Pacific time slot switch to 5 pm?
Or is anyone else available to help during that time?
Thanks! Things have been going very well so far today--with the help of the great volunteers.
Amy--I'm so glad you got this figured out. Switching browsers was a good option.
I don't know what might have caused the problem but I just tested in IE and I can see it requires a different process than my other browsers use.
Thanks for your help today!
Volunteer lounge link isn't working for me in Explorer. Seems to be working in Chrome although I have to reinstall the launch file to work with a different browser.
o ok. I got it. Thanks
Thank You very much Debbie. That helped me alot. see you tomorrow in the volunteer lounge. can you share the link to volunteer lounge?
Hello Mehreen,
We make the assignments to the specific sessions after you enter the volunteer lounge 30 minutes before the sessions begin. We match volunteers to the sessions based on needs of the presenters. Where possible, we will give volunteers a choice of which session they'd like to attend but we can't guarantee anything. It will all depend on who needs the most help during those minutes before the sessions begin.
So, the main thing you need to know is to join the volunteer lounge 30 minutes before the sessions begin.
Thanks for your help!
--Debbie
