We're looking at creating a text-based database to replace most of our very large vertical file. Since we own the newspaper microfilm for most of the file content, we were thinking that a citation-style database would allow patrons to access the information without our having to take up the space for both the file and the film collection. We'd still keep a vertical file, but it would be MUCH smaller.Anyway -- we want the database to be accessible through our website, not just resident on a local PC. Does anyone have suggestions as to database software -- or just any suggestions in general about this project?Any advice would be appreciated.</div>
