I'm glad I go to attend the libraries serving communities in crisis conference with you today, Connie. I always knew that librarians were superheroes, and now we're information first responders too. Proud to be of service.
You know, it's been a dozen years since we first started using Ning. Of all the tech tools to come and go since then, this was not a platform that I would have predicted would outlast so many, but I'm glad that it has.
I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.
And thanks for joining the Ning and signing on as a friend. I've been a member for a while but didn't send out announcement till last weekend. I've gotten several folks to sign up--it's kind of exciting.
There is school librarians group (go to GROUPS) which you can join as well.
Sometime, if it isn't too late, I love to chat about keynoters for next year's conference.
Take care and have a great holiday break.
