I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.
Shana Tova To you too.
I don't remember if I sent you a link to Ellyssa's blog which I really like. http://infotangle.blogsome.com/
I also heard one of her podcasts somewhere which was also good.
I haven't been keeping up with library 2.0 lately since I am quite busy at the good old library 1.0.
School is going okay, just sometimes the workload can be overwhelming. I will be taking cataloging next semester. I hear that one is a booger. Most of my kids are grown and out of the house. Only my youngest child, he's 15, is still living at home. I feel bad about not spending enough time with him due to work and school. I currently teach 3rd grade and am very busy most all the time.
Gail, hey, what happened with the potential job at SLU? Has anything come up yet? Am getting used to the job here at OCU.
Am looking forward to more social networking. I think it has great potential for law libraries.

Hi, Steve. I saw that you had St. Louis under your name in your Member profile. I actually am from the East Coast (grew up in the suburbs of NY, lived in NYC for 11 years) but I have been living in St. Louis since 1991. Looks like we did things in reverse geography wise!
None of the classes I have taken in library school explicitly addressed Library 2.0, but I read about it in a professional journal so I am wanting to learn more.
