I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.
This pic is from the preschool in Pa that I Directed. It's when I went back for a visit in May. Aren't they adorable? I just returned again from Pa last night, so I'm getting ready for work now and hoping when I get there, that they tell me all went smoothly with the conversion on Monday. How did CP do? How is your husband doing on his article about military personnel returning from war on leave? My daughter says her husband is quite depressed since his visit and then return to Iraq. We should do as the Europeans, with only 6 month tours. Proven that they end up with less PTSD/S that way... Talk soon...
I finally signed on to Library 2.0. How are things at CP? I just had what will be the last of my CarlX/Swyer training as I fly home (PA) tomorrow. Yea!!! I will miss all the fun on Mon. and Tues. as I don't return to work until Wed. Hopefully all goes smoothly. Love your Cat!!! Can't wait to see my cats and dogs...Oh Yeah, Craig and Heather too of course... :)
Linda, thanks for your post. You're not going to believe this, but I have 12 cats! Each one is a hoot! The white one in my picture is Cloud (she has one blue eye and one copper eye). I also have her sister, Cotton, who has two blue eyes and is deaf (Cloud is partially deaf). I can't wait to graduate either. Only collection development left to take, and comps. of course. Research methods was a lot of work in ten weeks this summer. (Friday it was all over.) I just saw an article about Pasco County Libraries...it sounds like a fantastic place to work...I've corresponded with Kevin on Library 2.0. This is a great place to meet people. Thanks again for your post. Julie
Hi Linda, saw your page and love your cat!...I work at USF Tampa Library...have one more class to take before I graduate. Too bad Florida's going down the tubes financially and there are no jobs! Julie
