Finally i've been able to access my pages...

It has been so long since i've been able to access these pages and so i'm writing this post while i have the opportunity.

I'm continuing on with my travels through web 2.0 and my duties at work have shifted significantly since i first created this profile. To the point now where i'm performing webmaster duties and having a ball doing it.

So why has it taken me so long? In this case it seems as though i am not alone when i say that there is still some resistence to social… Continue

Here at last

I started this profile as an exercise in learning 2.0 technologies and quickly discovered that i am uanble to view this site in my workplace and so haven't looked at it for a while. last week i checked the email for the first time in a while and saw that a couple of people had sent invites to me - months ago. I felt so bad about not responding that i just had to come back and actually start interacting more.

Still a bit of a novice with this technology, don't have an IT background but…

Hi Michael,
I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.

that's awesome! i got that link from a colleague at another library who "tweeted" about it on twitter and he got it from Resource Shelf. sadly i don't keep up with my RSS feeds like i should, but luckily i'm connected to friends who do! ;)

Check out these library-related conferences. There are quite a few in Australia! I do like some of Pink's music. I imagine a live concert would be quite an experience! Jealous!

Wow! Sounds like you're doing a great job! I'm looking forward to hearing what new innovations our Webmaster brings back from the Internet Librarian conference going on here in the U.S. Maybe we'll get going on some new stuff here pretty soon too! ;)

our blog has definitely been a popular feature on our website, so that's very exciting that you're getting ready to add one! the sites that seem to be the most popular with our patrons are myspace and youtube. some of the teens also use gaia online for social networking.

no snow yet though they're thinking maybe the first one this weekend. boise can be very beautiful especially spring through fall. winter's a bit dead and brown if it doesn't snow enough. i'm actually at a county library (www.adalib.org) more in the outlying parts of town. took a look around your website, especially the kids and teens and catalog, lots of fun stuff!
