Library 2.0 Skills

I have been taking this great (free) class this summer. It was offered by the California School Library Association. Actually that's how I found out about this group. I have no idea what will happen during the school year, whether or not I will be able to keep up on this site. I hope so.

Anyway I spent a bunch of time today learning how to convert the file format in music so that it can be added to a blog post, movie or…

I'm also taking the School Library Learning 2.0 class and saw your blog. I read your post where you mentioned that you created a wiki to use as a schedule for your library. How do the teachers schedule their time in the library? Can they actually kick somebody else out if they want to be in the library at a time someone else has already signed up for? How did you put the calendar into your wiki? Thanks for your help. Heather

Hi bibliofan, would you like to participate in the Library 2.0 Member survey I created for my Research Methods class?! It's not very long, and is mostly demographic and interest information. If you do, I would appreciate any comments you have about how I could improve it. Thanks, Julie

Hi - I got my log in to work on Ning, so here I am. I don't have time to dink around with this right now, but I will try later.

I too have found the communication on SLL2.0 a little frustrating, but I have decided that the frustration is part of the whole deal and this is a good time for me to try all of this stuff out. Better now than with a class of kids or teachers!

I hope you have a great time in Tahoe inspite of the fire, if that is possible. Janet a.k.a. Librarymum

Thanks for the comment. It's going to take me a while to learn the ropes. And, even then, new ropes appear. ; -)
