PMOG: Passively Multiplayer Online Game

PMOG, the Passively Multiplayer Online Game, was released to the general public this week. Players earn points for each unique domain on the internet they visit; they can use those points to buy crates to store gifts for other players, mines that distract other players, and lightposts that can be used to make missions--a series of websites on a given topic for other players explore.

I created the Libraries Doing Cool Stuff mission, based on the Library Showcases from I Love Libraries. Other library-related missions include Explore the Biblioblogosphere; the not-actually-smutty Hot Librarian Smut; Thinking about games, learning, and libraries; and the University of Manitoba's Awww, Sir, how can I find out anything about that... and Empire State College's Find Books in Empire State College library, which explore PMOG as an information literacy tool.
