Even though you commented on my photo back in November, I still wanted to comment you back, so, here I am doing it!

Thank you for the compliment and enjoying my profile pic, I thought it was very funny myself!
Arlington Heights, eh? Haven't been to that library. I go to the Park Ridge Public Library.

I've been in the college setting for so long that I think I'm still young :-)!! Despite the fact that I'm a grandmother of 2 cherubs.

Hi Morgan, What fun to have an author who went to college when I did :-). Be sure to check out Jamie Langston Turner's books. She is a friend from college who also has 5 or so books published.

I'd be happy to read your imaginative script, I would like to find someone who can get access to librarians. I would give 50 cents per cd order to that person

Thanks for the invite. My SIL lives in Chicagoland. I didn't realize that people besides my husband really called it that! Though they're from corn/soy country in the middle of the state originally...

Hi Morgan,
I'm completely new at this - social networking has only very recently entered my vocab. I guess we elementary school librarians don't get out much... Thank you for the invite. I suppose my world is sort of the inverse of yours - I am employed as a librarian and work on the side as a writer. I've been working on a middle grade children's novel for the past three years. Prior to my life as a librarian, I was a journalist.

Hi Morgan,
My name is Lori Powers. I invented the cdstripper product which slices through sticky bar code labels and cellophane from music cds. Readers Digest magazine did a review of the cdstripper and named it 'a got to have it product', receiving 4 stars! What I have noticed from my website sales is alot of buyers are librarians! This is why I connected to this site, to help other Librarians! Take a look at the video on
I recieve many emails from Montana, Indiana, Florida, New York!

Hi Morgan!
Thanks for the invite--I look forward to going through your pages. I love getting an author's take on libraries. Take care from glorious Kansas!

Hello, almost-neighbor! My husband is from Chicago, and has family up there, though I never get to travel with him to see them with copious amounts of school work to do.

Two Wrongs looks like a very interesting read! I'll have to check it out over winter break, when I will get to enjoy reading for pleasure between semesters!
