About Me:
Amanda has worked in academic libraries for over 15 years, for many types of institutions, from small community college libraries to large research universities, primarily in Virginia and North Carolina.
She earned a Doctorate in Higher Educational Leadership from East Carolina University, an MLIS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a BA from DePauw University. She also serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Illinois School of Information Sciences, where she recently taught “Race, Gender, and Information Technology”. Her research interests include library technology, usability and user experience, and library management.
