Library Advocacy Training

Dear all: Last September 17, Tthe Information Resource Center of the U.S. Mission in Brazil, located in Rio de Janeiro, held a one day trainign on Library Advocacy.  The program was presented by Marci Merola, Director of the Library Advocacy Office of American Library Association (ALA), and Carol Brey-Casiano, Information Resource Officer for the U.S. Embassy in Brazil.  Around 30 Brazilian librarians attended the event with great interest for they`re planning to implement the library…See More

"I think we need to be where they are learning - ie, online, with a presence in their course environment. We imbed learning materials into Blackboard and Moodle for our students at the University of Otago, and we use Springshare software to develop…"
