Short Session Description (one line): Information about the TXLA Intellectual Freedom Helpline that supports Texas librarians who need peer contact when facing library challenges.
Full Session Description (as long as you would like): The Helpline started in December 2021. It remains an all-volunteer effort with from school, public, and acadenic libraries across TX. We have a robust collection of resources that is constantly updated and available to volunteers to find the 2-3 useful for any individual request for support. I will talk about the organization, efforts towards sustainability, and the resources. We work to keep the volunteers and the callers safe, so have no website beyond notice on the TXLA web page of how to request support. I will have some slides.
