An academic and a public library joined forces to launch a collaborative initiative that deepens community engagement by showcasing the vital roles libraries play. What began as a small partnership has evolved into a multifaceted Discovery Camp designed to highlight the diverse services and far-reaching impact of libraries.

Discovery Camp offers a hands-on, exploratory experience that invites participants to engage with the many functions of modern libraries—from technology access and research support to creative programming and community outreach.

Through this partnership, both libraries amplify their reach and demonstrate how collaboration can expand educational opportunities and strengthen community connections. Impact is measured through participation data, feedback surveys, and engagement statistics, providing valuable insights that help shape future programming and communicate value to stakeholders.

Discovery Camp stands as a strong example of how libraries innovate, adapt, and lead within the communities they serve.
