Why we buy: The science of shopping by Paco Underhill

While not written by or for librarians; I do recommend this book for any one that works with the public. This book is written for business owners/managers/staff concerned or interested in being more successful in selling/promoting their product and services. The book covers areas that can be adapted to libraries like: signage (directional, promotional, etc…), displays (Library materials, book sales, etc…), spaces (Butt-brush factor, reading areas, etc…), and most of all a better understanding of useful predictable patron behavior that can be used to a librarians advantage.Has any one read this book and found helpful in their library?
