    Blog or Personal/Professional Website:

https://I'm interested in the evolution of library systems software, particularly in creating interactive elements to library OPACs. I also enjoy libraries' efforts to market services and events using social networking software, such as MySpace and Facebook. I feel like the library's web page should be a portal, in the most specific LIS sense of the word, allowing users to customize the interface and information provided to best suit their needs. Ideally, this would mean that more and more users would set the library website as their homepage, but I'm not that much of an idealist ... yet. Mostly, I'm flabbergasted by the horrible quality of so many library web pages.
