About Me:
Director of Library Services at American University of Nigeria Demirhan has been professionally working in the libraries since January 2000. He started working in libraries in Mississippi and Florida. In Florida, he worked in “joint facilities”, which served the general public, schools, and academic communities. In 2006, he started the first digital library in University of Kurdistan Hawler (UK-H), a new English medium university in Federal Region of Kurdistan – Iraq. In November 2011 moved to American University of Nigeria and since then he has been transforming library from a traditional library to a digital library, the first sub-Sahara Africa. Furthermore, he has conceptualized re-designing of very first post – Internet Library Building in Nigeria.
