    About Me:

I am a fifth year Ph.D. candidate at the College of Communication and Information at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. My primary research interests include community, place and information practices, and E-Government. I am interested in studying places as information systems, and the effects of place on information worlds, information behavior and access. My current research (dissertation) is focused on the information worlds and behaviors of parents of children with Down Syndrome in North and South Florida. I received my MLIS from FSU, and my AB from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. I am currently a teaching assistant at the School of Library and Information science.
