    Blog or Personal/Professional Website:

https://I'm interested in ways we can translate what we learn from emerging technologies (collaboration, openness, transparency, distribution of resources) into broader and more meaningful, not necessarily technological, support for the communities we serve. I'm also very interested in using the social web to help people develop their own styles of information literacy. Most of the students I work with are young kinetic and visual learners; they respond really well to creative and collaborative projects, but traditional OPACs and article databases don't move them. How can we develop information organization systems that actually work for and excite different types of users and that reflect the shifting nature of our information environment?
