    About Me:

Caterina Valentino is a knowledge broker. Using engaging teaching methods, she creates learning environments where divergent thinking is celebrated and harnessed to build on existing knowledge. An avid life-long learner, Caterina is enthusiastic when she finds innovative ways to transfer existing knowledge across disciplines. She is a frequent presenter, both domestically and globally, on her view of what makes for blockbuster online instruction. Prior to her academic career, Dr. Valentino held executive positions in the acute, long-term, and community health care sectors. She was awarded her PhD from the Institute Health, Policy and Management (University of Toronto). Her MBA from the Rotman School (University of Toronto) and her MPA(HAS) (Dalhousie University) round out her academic credentials. Other credits include certificates from the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education (Ryerson University) in Long-term Care Administration, Volunteer and Nonprofit Management, and Training and Development and Media Writing Fundamentals (Candidate).
